Acer H6542 DLP Full HD Projector - 4000 Lumens, 13000:1
The Acer H6542 DLP Full HD Projector is built for home entertainment in medium to large rooms, delivering sharp 1080p images with vibrant colour and low input lag for games, films and streaming. With 4,000 lumens of brightness and a 13,000:1 contrast ratio, it handles both daylit and darkened spaces without compromising image clarity.
Why this product
4,000 lumens brightness
Delivers clear, vibrant images in daylight or medium to large rooms without excessive darkening of the space.
Low input lag for gaming
16.7 ms latency at 60 Hz keeps response times tight for occasional gaming and interactive media.
Manual focus and zoom control
1.1x optical zoom and manual focus lens allows fine-tuning to your room layout without motorised adjustment.
3D-capable with DLP technology
Supports DLP 3D and HDMI 3D formats for 3D content playback when paired with compatible sources and glasses.
Flexible projection modes
Works from front or rear mounting, ceiling or desktop, with ±40° keystone correction to adapt to awkward room angles.

- USB Type-A port (DC out, 5V/1.5A) provides power only — not a data connection — suitable for charging small devices or powering fans.
- 3.5 mm audio jack (mono output, 3 W speaker) connects to external speakers or headphones; built-in speaker is low power.
- Vertical keystone correction (±40°) corrects image skew but does not correct horizontal distortion — room placement should still be reasonably square to the screen.
- No networking or wireless connectivity — requires physical HDMI or USB connections; no streaming apps or Wi-Fi direct input.
Best for
- Home cinemas and large living rooms
- Casual gaming and interactive media
- Daylit or mixed-light rooms
- Users who need flexible mounting
- 3D content enthusiasts with compatible hardware
Trade-offs
- Small rooms or close-range projection — minimum 1 m distance and 1.1x zoom means a 27" minimum image; not suitable for desks or small bedrooms.
- Wireless or smart-home setups — no Wi-Fi, Bluetooth or network connectivity; requires direct HDMI or USB cabling.
- High-speed competitive gaming — 16.7 ms input lag is acceptable for casual play but lags behind esports-grade displays.
- Long-term, hands-off operation — 5,000-hour lamp life in standard mode and manual focus/zoom require periodic maintenance and adjustment.
Transform your home entertainment with vibrant, FHD images and a wide array of colour enhancing technologies such as ColorBoost3D and ColorSafe II.
