Acer Nitro 20 N20-101 Gaming Desktop - RTX 5060, 16GB, 512GB
The Acer Nitro 20 N20-101 Gaming Desktop is a compact mini-tower built for gamers who want solid gaming performance without a full-sized PC taking over their desk. Powered by an Intel Core 5 210H processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 GPU with GDDR7 memory, it handles both modern gaming and everyday productivity tasks. It suits buyers stepping into or upgrading within the mid-range gaming desktop space who need a machine ready to use straight out of the box with Windows 11 Home pre-installed.
Why this product
RTX 5060 GPU with GDDR7 memory
The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 carries 8 GB of dedicated GDDR7 video memory and includes AI-powered optimisation that helps boost framerates and enhance resolution during play.
Octa-core Intel Core 5 processor
The Intel Core 5 210H runs at 2.20 GHz base with a maximum turbo of 4.80 GHz across eight cores, keeping both games and productivity workloads moving without bottlenecks.
Compact mini-tower chassis
At 348 × 160 × 306 mm, this machine fits comfortably on or under a desk where a full-tower would not, without sacrificing expansion options.
Upgradeable memory and storage
16 GB of DDR4 SDRAM is installed across two slots and can be expanded up to 32 GB, while two M.2 interfaces mean additional SSD storage can be added later.
Wi-Fi 6 and Gigabit Ethernet built in
IEEE 802.11ax (Wi-Fi 6) wireless and Gigabit Ethernet are both included, so it can be connected via cable for the lowest latency or wirelessly for flexibility.
Nine USB ports plus DisplayPort and HDMI
The port selection includes nine USB ports in total, three DisplayPort outputs, and HDMI, making it straightforward to connect multiple monitors and peripherals.

- Compatible with standard DDR4 SDRAM modules up to 32 GB across its two memory slots.
- Two M.2 interfaces allow additional NVMe or compatible SSD storage to be fitted without replacing the existing 512 GB drive.
- One PCIe x16 slot and one PCIe x1 slot are present for expansion cards, though the 400 W power supply limits which additional hardware is practical.
- Does not include a monitor, keyboard, or mouse — peripherals must be purchased separately.
Best for
- Mid-range gamers who want a ready-to-run desktop with a current-generation GPU and don't need a full-sized tower.
- Multi-monitor users who need to connect up to three or four displays simultaneously via the available DisplayPort and HDMI outputs.
- Buyers with limited desk space who need the compact 160 mm width of a mini-tower rather than a standard mid-tower footprint.
- Users who plan to upgrade over time — the two M.2 slots, dual memory slots expandable to 32 GB, and PCIe expansion slot provide a clear upgrade path.
- Hybrid work-and-play users who want a machine that also handles productivity tasks on the same octa-core processor.
Trade-offs
- Enthusiast builders who need a high-wattage PSU for top-tier multi-GPU or power-hungry GPU configurations — the supply is rated at 400 W.
- Buyers needing more than 32 GB of RAM — that is the maximum supported memory capacity.
- Users who require Wi-Fi 6E or Wi-Fi 7 — wireless connectivity is limited to IEEE 802.11ax (Wi-Fi 6).
- Those wanting a bundled display or peripherals — no monitor, keyboard, or mouse is included in the box.
