Acer Nitro VG270K V4bmiipx 27" 4K UHD IPS 160Hz Monitor
The Acer Nitro VG270K V4bmiipx is a 27-inch 4K UHD IPS gaming monitor aimed at players who want high resolution and high refresh rates from a single display. It runs at 160Hz at its native 3840×2160 resolution and scales up to 320Hz at 1080p via Dynamic Frame Rate technology, making it a practical choice for both detail-focused and fast-paced gaming. AMD FreeSync Premium and HDR 10 support round out the feature set for a versatile gaming setup.
Why this product
4K at 160Hz — no compromises needed
It delivers the full 3840×2160 resolution at 160Hz natively, so you do not have to choose between sharpness and smoothness.
Up to 320Hz at 1080p via DFR
Dynamic Frame Rate scaling lets it reach 320Hz when running at 1920×1080, useful for competitive titles that prioritise frame rate over resolution.
Fast 1ms (GTG) response time
With a rated response time of 1ms GTG — and up to 0.5ms GTG — it keeps motion blur to a minimum during fast-moving scenes.
AMD FreeSync Premium adaptive sync
FreeSync Premium reduces screen tearing and stuttering across the supported refresh rate range when paired with a compatible AMD GPU.
Wide colour gamut with HDR 10
A DCI-P3 90% colour gamut and HDR 10 support produce richer, more saturated colours in compatible games and media.
ZeroFrame design for multi-monitor setups
The thin-bezel ZeroFrame construction allows multiple units to be placed side by side with minimal visual gap between screens.

- Works with any PC, console or device outputting via DisplayPort 1.4 or HDMI 2.1.
- AMD FreeSync Premium is compatible with FreeSync-capable AMD Radeon GPUs over the supported refresh rate range.
- VESA 100×100mm mount pattern is compatible with most third-party monitor arms and wall-mount brackets.
- The 320Hz mode requires running at 1920×1080 resolution — native 4K tops out at 160Hz.
- FreeSync Premium adaptive sync is not certified for NVIDIA G-Sync; compatibility with NVIDIA cards will vary by system.
- Does not include a USB hub; devices requiring a monitor-side USB-A or USB-C port will need a separate hub.
Best for
- 4K gaming PC users who want native 3840×2160 output at a high refresh rate without dropping to a lower resolution.
- AMD GPU owners who can make full use of FreeSync Premium to eliminate tearing across the supported refresh range.
- Multi-monitor builders who benefit from the ZeroFrame bezel design when placing two or more panels side by side.
- Console and PC households needing two simultaneous HDMI 2.1 connections plus a DisplayPort source without a switch.
- Mixed-use setups where the same display handles competitive multiplayer at 1080p/320Hz and slower, detail-rich single-player titles at 4K.
Trade-offs
- Colour-critical professional work — at DCI-P3 90% it falls short of the wider gamuts that photography and video grading workflows typically require.
- Brightness-demanding HDR viewing — the panel is rated at 250 nits, which limits the impact of HDR content compared to higher-brightness displays.
- Height or pivot adjustability — ergonomic adjustment is limited to tilt (-5° to 25°); there is no height adjustment or pivot listed in the specifications.
- NVIDIA G-Sync users expecting certified compatibility — FreeSync Premium does not carry a G-Sync certification, so adaptive sync behaviour with NVIDIA cards is not guaranteed.
