Alienware AW3225QF 32" 4K QD-OLED 240Hz Curved Gaming Monitor
The Alienware AW3225QF 32" 4K QD-OLED 240Hz Curved Gaming Monitor is built for PC and console gamers who want 4K image quality, fast motion handling, and accurate colour in a single display. Its QD-OLED panel combines self-emissive pixels with quantum dot colour filtering, delivering a 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio, 99% DCI-P3 coverage, and a 0.03ms minimum response time alongside a 240Hz refresh rate. Dolby Vision support and HDMI 2.1 FRL connectivity mean next-generation consoles can drive it at its full resolution and refresh rate.
Why this product
4K QD-OLED at 240Hz
A 3840 x 2160 resolution at up to 240Hz refresh rate gives both sharp detail and smooth motion. At 140 pixels per inch on a 31.6-inch panel, individual pixels are not visible at typical viewing distances.
0.03ms minimum response time
The gray-to-gray minimum response time of 0.03ms reduces motion blur on fast-moving objects, making it well-suited to competitive gaming.
Dolby Vision, HDR10, and DisplayHDR True Black 400
It carries VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 certification and supports both Dolby Vision and HDR10. The OLED panel reaches 1000 cd/m² peak HDR brightness against a 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio.
HDMI 2.1 FRL with eARC included
Two HDMI 2.1 ports support 4K 240Hz with VRR for next-generation consoles, and one port includes eARC for Dolby Atmos audio pass-through to a connected sound system.
G-SYNC Compatible and Adaptive-Sync certified
It is both NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatible and VESA Adaptive-Sync certified, covering variable refresh rate support across a wide range of graphics cards.
3-year warranty covering OLED burn-in
The included 3-Year Advanced Exchange Service and Premium Panel Exchange explicitly covers OLED burn-in, which is not standard across all OLED monitor warranties.

- PC graphics cards with DisplayPort 1.4 or HDMI 2.1 can reach 4K 240Hz on this monitor.
- PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X connect via HDMI 2.1 and can use VRR as per HDMI 2.1 specification.
- NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatible and VESA Adaptive-Sync certified — variable refresh rate works with a broad range of NVIDIA and AMD graphics cards.
- 4K 240Hz over DisplayPort 1.4 requires DSC (Display Stream Compression) to be enabled; the vendor describes this as visually lossless.
- The USB Type-C downstream port supports BC1.2 power charging only — it is not a full-function Thunderbolt or DisplayPort Alt Mode input.
- Pivot (portrait rotation) is not supported — the stand offers height, tilt, and swivel adjustment only.
Best for
- PC gamers wanting 4K and high refresh rate together — 3840 x 2160 at up to 240Hz is available over both DisplayPort 1.4 and HDMI 2.1.
- Console gamers on PS5 or Xbox Series X — two HDMI 2.1 ports with VRR support mean both consoles can be connected simultaneously.
- Content creators needing accurate colour — 99% DCI-P3 coverage, 10-bit colour depth, and 1.07 billion colours suit colour-critical work.
- Dark-room and HDR viewing — self-emissive OLED pixels turn off individually, producing a 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio and true blacks without haloing around bright objects.
- Buyers concerned about OLED longevity — the 3-year warranty explicitly covers OLED burn-in under the Premium Panel Exchange programme.
Trade-offs
- Brightly lit rooms — at 1000 cd/m² peak HDR brightness, it may be outshone by high-peak-brightness LCD monitors in very bright environments.
- Portrait-orientation workflows — the stand does not support pivot rotation, so vertical content creators would need a third-party VESA arm.
- Users needing USB-C video input — the single USB-C port is a downstream charging port only and does not accept a video signal.
- Buyers wanting a flat panel — the 1700R curvature is a fixed design choice; there is no flat version of this model.
An unrivaled viewing experience in every scene with our 32-inch QD-OLED monitor, featuring a 4K resolution, curved panel, Dolby Vision and 240Hz refresh rate.
The AW3225QF delivers ultimate visual fidelity with 4K resolution, Dolby Vision, a 240Hz refresh rate, and 0.03 ms minimum response time, plus superb color performance. And with HDMI 2.1 FRL, next-gen gaming consoles can reach their full visual potential.
Unleash the full potential of QD-OLED technology's remarkable clarity, high colour purity, exceptionally rendered dark scenes and elimination of haloing around lights.
