ASUS ExpertWifi EBM68 2-Pack AXE11000 Tri-Band Mesh WiFi
The ASUS ExpertWifi EBM68 2-Pack AXE11000 Tri-Band Mesh WiFi is a business-grade WiFi 6E mesh system built for small and medium businesses that need reliable, manageable wireless coverage across large spaces. The 2-pack configuration covers up to 5,400 sq ft, and the tri-band AXE11000 radio delivers combined speeds across 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, and 6 GHz bands. Network administrators get VLAN support, SSID scheduling, traffic monitoring, and enterprise-grade security without needing dedicated IT infrastructure.
Why this product
WiFi 6E tri-band across three frequencies
It operates simultaneously on 2.4 GHz (1148 Mbps), 5 GHz (4804 Mbps), and 6 GHz (4804 Mbps), giving clients access to the less-congested 6 GHz band where supported.
Business network management built in
VLAN segmentation, SSID scheduling, and traffic monitoring are available out of the box — features typically requiring separate hardware in consumer mesh systems.
Enterprise security with WPA3 and AiProtection Pro
WPA3 encryption and ASUS AiProtection Pro provide layered security suited to environments handling sensitive business data.
2.5G WAN port for high-speed uplinks
The 2.5G WAN/LAN port prevents the internet connection from becoming a bottleneck when paired with a high-speed fibre or cable modem.
3-year warranty
A 3-year warranty provides longer coverage than most consumer mesh systems, reducing total cost of ownership for business deployments.

- Works with any ISP modem or gateway via the 2.5G WAN/LAN port.
- Managed via the ASUS ExpertWifi app or a standard web browser GUI — no proprietary controller hardware required.
- Compatible with WiFi 6E, WiFi 6, WiFi 5, and older client devices; newer clients gain access to the 6 GHz band.
- The 6 GHz band is only accessible to devices with WiFi 6E (802.11ax 6 GHz) radios; older devices connect on 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz.
- LAN ports are 1G; devices requiring multi-gigabit wired throughput should connect via the single 2.5G port.
- Not designed to inter-operate in a mixed mesh with non-ASUS ExpertWifi nodes.
Best for
- Small and medium businesses needing VLAN, SSID scheduling, and traffic monitoring without a dedicated controller.
- Large offices or retail spaces up to 5,400 sq ft where a 2-pack provides whole-site coverage from a single system.
- Environments with WiFi 6E client devices that benefit from the less-congested 6 GHz radio band.
- IT-managed deployments where web GUI access and app-based management reduce on-site administration time.
Trade-offs
- Spaces larger than 5,400 sq ft — the 2-pack coverage limit means additional nodes would be needed for full coverage of larger sites.
- Devices requiring multi-gigabit wired connections — three of the four ports are 1G, with only one 2.5G port available.
- Buyers expecting consumer-level pricing — the business management features and 3-year warranty are reflected in a higher cost than consumer mesh alternatives.
- Existing non-ASUS mesh deployments — it is not designed to join or extend a mesh network built around other vendors' nodes.
