Best for
- Color-critical work — photography editing, video grading, graphic design where accurate color rendition is non-negotiable.
- Field production and mobile studios where you need a full-featured reference monitor without studio-sized hardware.
- Architects and engineers needing a secondary touch display for precise annotation and design review on location.
- Adobe Creative professionals who benefit from the ASUS Dial integration to speed up common adjustments.
Trade-offs
- Gaming or entertainment: 60 Hz refresh rate and 5 ms response time are not optimised for fast-action use.
- Brightness-critical environments: 300 cd/m² typical brightness may struggle in direct sunlight or very bright outdoor settings.
- Users without USB-C or Micro HDMI ports: Older devices limited to DisplayPort or VGA will require additional adapters.
- Fixed desk installations: No height adjustment and limited tilt range (+15° to +75°) mean this is designed for mobile use, not permanent ergonomic setup.
