ASUS ROG Strix Scope II 96 Wireless Gaming Keyboard
The ASUS ROG Strix Scope II 96 Wireless Gaming Keyboard is a compact mechanical keyboard designed for gamers and streamers who want full functionality in a space-efficient layout. It combines hot-swappable switches, tri-mode wireless connectivity, and streamer-focused hotkeys without requiring a larger desk footprint.
Why this product
96% layout saves desk space
Keeps all function and number keys while being only 1 cm wider than a standard 80% keyboard, freeing up room for your mouse and other peripherals.
Three connection modes
Switch between wired USB, 2.4 GHz wireless with ROG SpeedNova, or Bluetooth to up to three devices without unplugging or reconfiguring.
Hot-swappable pre-lubed switches
Replace individual ROG NX Snow or Storm mechanical switches without soldering; they arrive pre-lubed for consistent feel and fast actuation out of the box.
Dampening foam reduces noise
Integrated silicone foam and switch-dampening pads absorb pinging and echo for quieter typing during streams and gameplay.
Streamer hotkeys and controls
F1–F5 keys are pre-programmed for Xbox Game Bar and recording; a multi-function button and media wheel handle playback and lighting on the fly.

Trade-offs
- Budget-first buyers: premium switches, dampening foam, and tri-mode wireless add significant cost versus entry-level gaming keyboards.
- Users needing built-in battery display: no battery percentage indicator is listed in the specifications.
- Those wanting a standard 60% or 100% layout: the 96% form factor is a middle ground; it may not suit users committed to compact or full-size boards.
