- Windows 11 Home is pre-installed; ASUS recommends Windows 11 Pro for business and domain environments.
- Upgrade-ready: one DDR5 SO-DIMM slot and one M.2 2280 PCIe 4.0 slot allow RAM and storage expansion.
- Dual-band Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) and Bluetooth 5.4 connect to current wireless networks and peripherals.
- The non-touch IPS display suits productivity work; touch input is not available if that is a requirement.
Best for
- Remote workers and students needing a portable yet capable screen for video calls and document editing.
- Content creators working with video, design, or photo editing who benefit from the larger 18-inch canvas and colour-accurate display.
- Professionals running light AI workloads locally via the integrated NPU without relying on cloud processing.
- Users who value expandable RAM and storage without proprietary constraints.
Trade-offs
- Gaming — the integrated AMD Radeon GPU is not designed for demanding games; dedicated NVIDIA or AMD discrete GPUs outperform it significantly.
- Touch input workflows — the non-touch display rules out pen or finger input, a limitation for digital design and annotation.
- Enterprise security-first deployments — Windows 11 Home ships with this model; businesses requiring Pro licensing and domain control must upgrade separately.
- Ultra-light portability — at 2.6 kg with an 18-inch frame, it is heavier and bulkier than 13 or 14-inch ultrabooks for frequent travel.
The ASUS Vivobook 18 is your ultimate tool for tackling any task with ease. It's equipped with a powerful AMD Ryzen AI 5 430 processor and blazing-fast WiFi 6. With up to 16 GB of RAM and a spacious 512 GB SSD, you'll enjoy lightning-fast performance and ample storage for everything you need.
Experience a significant upgrade in performance with increased CPU wattage, now up to 35W. Enhanced heat pipe technology and a taller fan design improve airflow, ensuring cooler and more stable operation under heavy loads.
Its stunning WUXGA (1920 x 1200) 144 Hz 18-inch display brings everything to life in crisp detail. The sleek modern design features a comfy and quiet ASUS ErgoSense keyboard, a roomy touchpad with intuitive gesture support, and a flexible 180° hinge, making your workdays and playdays more efficient and enjoyable.
