Trade-offs
- Gaming or 3D work: Integrated Radeon graphics are not suited to modern games or demanding CAD, rendering or video production software.
- Heavy multitasking: 8GB of RAM is the minimum for comfortable use; running many browser tabs, virtual machines or design software simultaneously will cause slowdowns.
- Large file storage: 256GB storage fills quickly with video libraries, software, or photo collections; no easy upgrade path for storage.
- Professional video or photo work: 45% NTSC color gamut is below the standard for colour-critical editing.
