ASUS Zenbook A14 UX3407NA Snapdragon X2 Elite 16GB 1TB Gold
The ASUS Zenbook A14 UX3407NA is an ultra-lightweight 14-inch laptop built for professionals and students who need full-day productivity without carrying a heavy machine. Weighing under 1 kg and featuring the Snapdragon X2 Elite processor with an 80 TOPS NPU, it handles demanding AI-assisted workflows on-device. The full Ceraluminum chassis and multi-day battery life make it a practical choice for people who work away from a desk for extended periods.
Why this product
Under 1 kg with a full-day chassis
At 0.99 kg, this laptop is one of the lightest 14-inch machines available. The full Ceraluminum body is both smudge-resistant and durable without adding bulk.
Up to 35 hours of battery life
The 70 Wh 3-cell battery supports over 33 hours of use, and the 100W fast-charge USB-C adapter means a short plug-in session can top it up quickly.
18-core Snapdragon X2 Elite processor
The Snapdragon X2 Elite X2E88100 runs 18 cores with a single-core boost of 4.7 GHz and up to 152 GB/s memory bandwidth, handling multitasking workloads efficiently.
80 TOPS on-device AI acceleration
The Qualcomm Hexagon NPU delivers up to 80 TOPS, enabling Copilot+ PC AI features to run locally without relying on cloud processing.
OLED display with 100% DCI-P3 coverage
The 14-inch 1920×1200 OLED panel has a 16:10 aspect ratio, 0.2 ms response time, 600 nits HDR peak brightness, and 1.07 billion colours — useful for colour-accurate work.
Wi-Fi 7 and USB 4.0 connectivity
Triple-band Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be) and two USB 4.0 Gen 3 Type-C ports at 40 Gbps each, plus HDMI 2.1, cover both high-speed peripherals and modern displays.

Best for
- Frequent travellers who prioritise weight — at 0.99 kg this is one of the lightest 14-inch laptops currently available.
- All-day mobile workers who cannot always find a power outlet — the 70 Wh battery is rated for over 33 hours of use.
- AI and Copilot+ workloads — the 80 TOPS NPU handles on-device AI inference without needing a cloud connection.
- Colour-sensitive creative work — the OLED panel covers 100% DCI-P3 with 1.07 billion colours and is TÜV Rheinland-certified for eye care.
- Users who value fast wireless — Wi-Fi 7 triple-band support and Bluetooth 5.4 are among the most current wireless standards available.
Trade-offs
- Users needing more than 16 GB RAM — memory is soldered and cannot be upgraded beyond what ships in the unit.
- x86-only software environments — the ARM-based Snapdragon processor requires emulation for legacy x86 applications, which may affect compatibility or performance.
- Gamers or GPU-intensive workloads — the integrated Qualcomm Adreno GPU is not a discrete graphics card and is not positioned for high-demand 3D rendering or gaming.
- Users who need a touchscreen — the display is specified as non-touch.
