Dell UltraSharp U2724D 27" QHD 120Hz IPS Monitor - 2560x1440
The Dell UltraSharp U2724D 27" QHD 120Hz IPS Monitor suits creative professionals, knowledge workers and anyone spending long hours at a screen. It combines high-resolution display with eye-comfort certification and 120Hz refresh rate to reduce fatigue while maintaining color accuracy.
Why this product
TÜV-certified eye comfort
This monitor holds 5-star TÜV certification for visual comfort. ComfortView Plus reduces blue light to 35% or less, and an ambient light sensor automatically adjusts brightness and color temperature based on your surroundings.
2560×1440 at 120Hz refresh
QHD resolution on a 27" screen delivers 109 PPI with less flicker and smoother motion than standard 60Hz monitors, reducing eye strain during extended work sessions.
IPS Black panel with 2000:1 contrast
IPS Black technology deepens blacks and improves gray-level accuracy across wide viewing angles (178° both ways), so color remains consistent whether you're sitting center or to the side.
Picture-in-Picture and dual source
View content from two PCs at once using PiP or PbP modes, eliminating the need to switch focus between devices.
Full-range connectivity and power delivery
DisplayPort 1.4, HDMI 2.1, USB-C with 15W power delivery, and USB-A ports provide comprehensive connectivity for modern workstations and peripherals.
Factory calibration with Calman verification
Comes color-calibrated with Delta E <2 across multiple color spaces. Dell Color Management software allows easy recalibration for specific workflows.

- Knowledge workers and developers who spend 8+ hours daily at their monitor and benefit from TÜV eye-comfort certification and blue-light reduction.
- Multi-monitor or dual-source workflows using Picture-in-Picture and Picture-by-Picture to view two PC outputs simultaneously.
- Anyone requiring a fully ergonomic setup: height, tilt, swivel and pivot adjustment cover nearly all seated working positions.
- USB-C-first workflows needing power delivery to charge laptops and high-speed data connectivity without a separate hub.
Trade-offs
- HDR and high-contrast content: This monitor is SDR-only and lacks the brightness (350 cd/m² typical) and local dimming needed for HDR gaming or film work.
- Fast-moving games at high refresh rates: 120Hz and 5–8 ms response time trail competitive 144Hz+ gaming monitors with 1ms response.
- Budget-first purchases: Premium calibration, eye-comfort certification and ergonomic build command a higher price than entry-level QHD monitors.
- Ultrawide or very high resolution demands: 27" 2560×1440 is a single-panel middle ground; ultrawide or 4K setups require different monitors.
Experience a new level of visual comfort, enhanced productivity and extensive connectivity with this monitor certified by TÜV for 5-star eye comfort.
- Ambient Light Sensor: A built-in Ambient Light Sensor intelligently optimizes brightness and color temperature based on your surroundings.
- Improved ComfortView Plus: Reduces harmful blue light emissions to ≤35%, for all-day comfort without sacrificing color accuracy.
- A smoother visual experience: A 120Hz refresh rate delivers less flicker, more seamless scrolling and smoother motion than 60Hz monitors.
- Superior image quality: This IPS Black panel technology monitor has deeper blacks and greater gray color level accuracy, delivering exceptional contrast (2000:1) across a wide viewing angle.
- See more on one screen: View content from two PC sources with Picture-in-Picture (PiP) and Picture-by-Picture (PbP).
- Extend your connectivity: Connect to more with DisplayPort 1.4, HDMI (HDCP 1.4)(supports up to QHD 2560 x 1440 120Hz TMDS, VRR as specified in HDMI 2.1), USB-A and USB-C ports that provide speeds of up to 10Gbps.
- Connect with ease: Simply plug in accessories and devices with a quick access USB-A port and a USB-C port that delivers up to 15W of power.
