iiyama G-Master G2245HSU-B2 22" Full HD IPS Gaming Monitor
The iiyama G-Master G2245HSU-B2 22" FHD IPS Gaming Monitor is aimed at PC gamers who want smooth, colour-accurate visuals without occupying a large desk footprint. It combines a 100Hz refresh rate and 1ms MPRT response time with an IPS panel covering 100% sRGB, making it a practical choice for fast-paced gaming and general desktop use on a 22-inch screen.
Why this product
1ms MPRT for reduced ghosting
The 1ms MPRT response time cuts ghosting and blurring during fast motion, keeping on-screen movement clear in competitive titles.
IPS panel with 100% sRGB coverage
The IPS panel delivers wide 89° viewing angles in all directions and covers the full sRGB colour space, so colours stay accurate from most seating positions.
Adaptive Sync: works with AMD and NVIDIA
It supports both AMD FreeSync and NVIDIA G-Sync Compatible, reducing screen tearing across a wide range of GPUs.
Black Tuner for shadow detail
The Black Tuner function lets users adjust brightness and dark shades independently, helping to spot detail in shadowed areas of a game scene.
Built-in USB hub and speakers
Two USB-A 2.0 ports and built-in speakers reduce cable clutter, letting users connect peripherals and audio directly to the monitor.
VESA-compatible with cable management
The 100×100mm VESA mount pattern allows arm or wall mounting, and a cable management system helps keep the desk tidy.

- Connects via HDMI 1.4 or DisplayPort 1.2 — suitable for most modern desktop and laptop GPUs with either output.
- AMD FreeSync compatible; also listed as NVIDIA G-Sync Compatible for variable refresh rate with supported NVIDIA cards.
- VESA 100×100mm pattern supports standard monitor arms and wall mounts.
- The USB hub provides two USB-A 2.0 ports; a USB cable (included) must connect the monitor to the PC for hub functionality.
- Maximum refresh rate is 100Hz — graphics cards must output at or below this rate; it is not a 144Hz or 165Hz panel.
- No USB-C or Thunderbolt input — not directly compatible with devices that rely solely on USB-C video output without an adapter.
Best for
- Competitive gaming on a budget desk footprint: the 100Hz refresh rate and 1ms MPRT suit fast-paced gaming without requiring a large 27-inch or wider screen.
- Colour-sensitive work alongside gaming: 100% sRGB coverage and IPS accuracy make it usable for photo editing and design at desktop resolutions.
- Multi-GPU households: Adaptive Sync support for both AMD and NVIDIA means it works with whichever GPU is in the system.
- Tidy desk setups: built-in speakers, a USB hub, cable management, and an internal PSU reduce the number of external boxes and cables needed.
- Wall or arm mount users: VESA 100×100mm compatibility means it fits standard aftermarket mounts for flexible positioning.
Trade-offs
- High-refresh-rate enthusiasts: the panel is rated to 100Hz; buyers wanting 144Hz, 165Hz or higher should look at faster panels.
- Large-screen gaming: the physical diagonal is 21.5 inches — buyers who prefer 27 inches or larger will find this too small.
- USB-C or single-cable laptop docking: there is no USB-C video input, so laptops that output video only over USB-C require a separate adapter.
- High-bandwidth peripheral hubs: the two built-in USB ports are USB-A 2.0 only, which limits throughput for external drives or other high-speed devices.
