iiyama ProLite E1980S-B1 19" 1280x1024 75Hz TN LED Monitor
The iiyama ProLite E1980S-B1 is a 19-inch LED-backlit office monitor built for everyday productivity tasks in workplaces that need a reliable, compact display. It suits office users and businesses wanting a no-fuss screen with integrated speakers, VESA mount support, and a key-lock feature to prevent unauthorised setting changes. Its 5:4 aspect ratio and 1280×1024 resolution make it a natural fit for traditional office applications and data-entry workflows.
Why this product
LED backlight cuts power consumption
By replacing fluorescent backlight lamps with LED diodes, it draws less power and produces lower CO2 emissions than equivalent CCFL displays, making it a more eco-friendly choice for the office.
Advanced Contrast Ratio adjusts automatically
The ACR feature continuously adjusts contrast and brightness to suit the content on screen, helping maintain picture quality when switching between documents, video and general browsing.
VESA-compatible for flexible mounting
Full VESA mount compliance means it can be attached to any VESA-standard arm or wall bracket, freeing up desk space or enabling multi-monitor arrangements.
Integrated stereo speakers included
Two built-in stereo speakers remove the need for a separate speaker set, keeping desk clutter to a minimum in shared or space-limited office environments.
Key lock prevents accidental changes
The key-lock function lets administrators or users lock the on-screen display controls, protecting calibrated settings from being altered accidentally or by others.

Best for
- Office and data-entry users who need a compact 5:4 monitor for spreadsheets, documents and standard business applications.
- Cost-conscious businesses that want a multi-unit office deployment with consistent, lockable settings and VESA mounting flexibility.
- Space-constrained desks where a smaller 19-inch footprint and integrated speakers reduce the number of peripherals required.
- Eco-conscious workplaces looking to reduce energy consumption, as the LED backlight lowers power draw compared to CCFL alternatives.
Trade-offs
- Graphic designers and photo editors who require wide-colour or high-accuracy colour reproduction beyond sRGB-corrected TN panel output.
- Widescreen content workflows — the 5:4 aspect ratio will letterbox 16:9 video and is not suited to widescreen media production or consumption.
- Competitive or high-refresh gaming where resolutions above 1280×1024 or refresh rates above 75 Hz are expected.
- Users needing height adjustment from the stand — this model ships with a fixed-height stand only.
