iiyama ProLite X2493HSU-B1 23.8" Full HD IPS Monitor 120Hz
The iiyama ProLite X2493HSU-B1 is a 23.8" Full HD IPS monitor aimed at professionals and students who need a clean, multi-monitor-ready display for everyday computing tasks. Its four-side ultra-slim bezel and 120 Hz refresh rate make it well suited to side-by-side setups where continuity between screens matters. Built-in speakers, a USB hub, and certifications including EPEAT and TCO10 mean it fits workplaces with both productivity and sustainability requirements.
Why this product
Four-side ultra-slim bezel for multi-monitor use
The near-borderless frame on all four sides minimises the visual gap between screens, making it straightforward to tile two or more units side by side without a distracting border.
IPS panel with wide 178°/178° viewing angles
IPS technology delivers accurate colour reproduction across the full 16.7 million colour range and consistent image quality whether you are sitting directly in front or viewing from the side.
120 Hz refresh rate with Adaptive-Sync
The 48–120 Hz variable refresh range keeps motion smooth and reduces tearing during scrolling, video playback and light gaming sessions.
Flicker-free and blue light reducer for eye comfort
Flicker-free backlight technology and a software-adjustable blue light reducer help reduce eye fatigue during long working or study sessions.
Built-in hub and audio simplify the desk
Two USB ports, a headphone socket, built-in 2×2 W speakers, plus HDMI and DisplayPort inputs let you connect peripherals and audio without adding extra boxes to your desk.
EPEAT, TCO10 and Energy Label C certified
Third-party sustainability certifications mean it meets recognised environmental and ergonomic standards, supporting workplace green-purchasing policies.

Best for
- Multi-monitor workstation builders who need a slim, visually continuous bezel across two or more screens.
- Office and productivity users who want Full HD IPS quality, integrated speakers and a USB hub without a cluttered desk.
- Eye-comfort-conscious users working long hours who benefit from flicker-free technology and a blue light reducer.
- Organisations with sustainability procurement requirements — EPEAT registration and TCO10 Certified compliance support green-purchasing criteria.
- Light gamers who also use the display for work and want a 120 Hz / Adaptive-Sync panel at a compact 23.8" size.
Trade-offs
- Buyers needing height, tilt or pivot adjustment — this model's stand does not offer height adjustment; the ProLite XB2493HSU-B1 should be considered instead.
- Colour-critical print or photo professionals — the colour gamut is sRGB 96% / NTSC 72%, which may not satisfy workflows requiring a wider colour space such as DCI-P3 or Adobe RGB.
- Users requiring a resolution above Full HD — the panel is fixed at 1920×1080 and is not suitable for 4K or QHD workflows.
- Buyers needing more than two USB ports at the monitor — the built-in hub provides only two USB-A ports.
The ProLite X2493HSU is the ideal choice if you are looking for a compact, high-performance display that integrates effortlessly into a multi-monitor workspace. Its four-side ultra-slim bezel design creates a clean, modern aesthetic and delivers seamless visuals across multiple screens. The IPS panel ensures sharp detail, accurate colour reproduction and wide viewing angles, while the 120Hz refresh rate provides a smooth and responsive user experience.
Whether you are working on documents, editing content or browsing the web, flicker-free technology and a blue light reducer help reduce eye strain and improve long-term viewing comfort.
For convenience and efficiency, the X2493HSU features built-in speakers, a two-port USB hub, HDMI and DisplayPort inputs, and a headphone socket. This simplifies your desk setup and provides flexible connectivity for your devices.
With EPEAT registration, TCO10 Certified compliance and an Energy Label C rating, this monitor supports your sustainability objectives without compromising on performance.
Connect multiple ultra-slim bezel monitors to create a panoramic workspace, keep your apps in view, streamline multitasking, and boost productivity.
Connect multiple devices and accessories in one simple step with HDMI DisplayPort and the USB hub, streamlining your workspace for maximum efficiency and ensuring a tidy, uninterrupted workflow.
Enjoy clear, pleasant sound for calls, videos, and music while keeping your desk free of extra speakers, thanks to the integrated audio.
Work, study or play for longer with greater visual comfort. The Blue Light Reducer feature lets you lower blue light emissions through software settings, helping minimise eye strain during extended screen time. Combined with flicker-free technology, it supports a more comfortable viewing experience so you can stay focused throughout the day.
