Mercusys MA86XE AXE5400 Wi-Fi 6E Bluetooth PCIe Adapter
The Mercusys MA86XE is a Wi-Fi 6E PCIe adapter that brings next-generation wireless connectivity to desktop PCs. It operates across three bands—the new 6 GHz spectrum plus traditional 5 GHz and 2.4 GHz—with combined speeds up to 5378 Mbps, and includes Bluetooth 5.3 for wireless peripheral connectivity.
Why this product
Wi-Fi 6E with 6 GHz band access
The adapter unlocks the exclusive 6 GHz band, which is free from interference from older Wi-Fi devices. This dedicated spectrum delivers lower latency and more reliable connections for demanding tasks.
Tri-band coverage: 2402 + 2402 + 574 Mbps
Simultaneous operation across 6 GHz, 5 GHz, and 2.4 GHz bands allows it to handle multiple devices and use cases without forcing a choice between bands.
OFDMA and MU-MIMO for efficiency
Multiple devices can communicate with your router simultaneously rather than waiting in turn, improving overall network responsiveness when several devices are active.
Bluetooth 5.3 built in
Wireless mice, keyboards, and headsets connect without a separate dongle. Bluetooth 5.3 offers greater range and faster transmission than Bluetooth 4.x.
WPA3 security
The latest Wi-Fi security standard protects against password-guessing attacks and provides enhanced protection for personal networks.

WiFi 6E means WiFi 6 extended to the 6 GHz band, a newly-opened frequency band that adds more bandwidth, faster speeds, and lower latency. This opens up resources for future innovations in AR/VR, 8K streaming, and more.‡
MA86XE arms your PC with Wi-Fi 6E technology and the brand-new 6 GHz band, unlocking your Wi-Fi 6E router's full potential. Experience the unblocked network on the exclusive band to Wi-Fi 6E devices, which prevents drops in speed and interference from legacy devices.†‡
By combining OFDMA and MU-MIMO, MA86XE brings your PC's WiFi reception to the next level. This ensures the efficiency of your PC's WiFi connection by allowing more devices to communicate with your router simultaneously, rather than waiting in turn for data.‡
Equipped with WiFi 6E, MA86XE brings a ultra low latency to achieve incredibly smooth real time gaming or immersive VR experiences.
Combined with a powerful Wi-Fi 6E chipset, MA86XE maximizes sppeds, latency and reliability benefits of Wi-Fi 6 across new radio frequencies free from legacy device interference. You can dramatically improve your connected experience at home, work, or on the go.
MA86XE makes your PC Bluetooth-capable with ultra-fast Bluetooth 5.3 which achieves more stable connection, farther range and faster transmission speeds than Bluetooth 4. Just connect your Bluetooth devices to your computer and enjoy with ease.*
The latest security standard, WPA3, offers improved comprehensive WiFi protection.
MA86XE fully supports for the latest Windows 11. Just simply upgrade your PC to the newest WiFi 6E by MA86XE.
†Maximum wireless signal rates are the physical rates derived from IEEE Standard 802.11 specifications. Actual wireless data throughput and wireless coverage, and number of connected devices are not guaranteed and will vary as a result of network conditions, AP limitations, and environmental factors, including building materials, obstacles, volume and density of traffic, and AP location.
‡Use of Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax), Wi-Fi 6E, and features including OFDMA, MU-MIMO, 1024-QAM, or HE160 require APs to also support the corresponding features. 160 MHz channels may not be all available in the 5GHz or 6 GHz band in some regions/countries due to regulatory restrictions.
*Several new features are introduced in the Bluetooth Core Specification 5.0 and 5.3 Release, including 2× faster speed and 4× broader coverage compared with Bluetooth 4.2.
Please note: MA86XE is not compatible with the low-profile bracket because of the fixed antennas.
