TP-Link TL-SL1226P 24-Port Unmanaged PoE+ Switch 250W
The TP-Link TL-SL1226P is a 24-port PoE+ switch designed for small and medium business IP surveillance and access point deployments. It delivers 250 W of total power budget across 24 Fast Ethernet ports, each capable of supplying up to 30 W, with extended transmission reaching 250 m in Extend Mode for large-area camera installations.
Why this product
250 W PoE power for 24 ports
Each of the 24 PoE+ ports supplies up to 30 W, totalling 250 W across the switch. This covers IP cameras, access points, IP phones and other PoE devices without needing separate power injectors.
Extended PoE reach to 250 m
Extend Mode pushes PoE power and data transmission up to 250 m—ideal for deploying cameras across large outdoor or multi-building sites. Ports drop to 10 Mbps in this mode.
Priority and Isolation modes
One-touch Priority Mode flags ports 1–8 for higher throughput priority during congestion. Isolation Mode separates client traffic for security and performance.
Gigabit uplinks plus SFP
Two Gigabit Ethernet ports and two combo Gigabit SFP slots allow high-speed uplinks to core switches or long-distance fiber runs.
Plug-and-play, no setup
Unmanaged design means no configuration required. Install, connect power, and it routes traffic immediately.

- EAN6935364089450
- IP cameras and video surveillance equipment compliant with IEEE 802.3af or 802.3at PoE standards.
- Wireless access points, IP phones, and networked printers rated for 802.3af/at PoE.
- Gigabit devices via the two uplink RJ45 ports or SFP slots for fiber connections.
- Extended transmission to 250 m works only in Extend Mode, which reduces PoE port speed to 10 Mbps.
- Managed switches or devices requiring SNMP, VLAN configuration, or advanced routing—this is an unmanaged switch.
Best for
- IP camera deployments across large areas or multiple buildings.
- Small and medium office or school networks where simplicity and reliability matter more than advanced configuration.
- Surveillance systems requiring high per-port power delivery (up to 30 W) without external power injectors.
- Rack-mount installations in equipment closets or networking racks (1U form factor).
Trade-offs
- Networks needing VLAN segmentation, SNMP monitoring, or dynamic port configuration—it offers no management interface.
- High-speed core networks—the 24 PoE ports are limited to 10/100 Mbps; only the two uplinks are Gigabit.
- Environments where all ports must run at Gigabit speeds or where you need guaranteed low latency across all 24 ports.
- Applications requiring more than 250 W total PoE power budget or per-port delivery above 30 W.
Compliance with the 802.3af/at PoE+ standard supports up to 30 W on each PoE port. The total 250 W PoE power budget* for the 24× PoE ports makes it has wide range of applications, such as surveillance, offices, dormitories, and small businesses. It is fully compatible with IP cameras, access points, IP phones, computers, printers, and etc.
With extend mode, the PoE transmission distance reaches up to 250 m*—perfect for IP Camera deployment in large areas. *The speed of the ports in extend mode will downgrade to 10 Mbps. Actual transmission distance may vary due to cable quality.
Priority Mode and Isolation Mode make surveillance smoother and safer. Quality of sensitive applications like video monitoring in critical business areas is guaranteed by offering higher priority options for ports 1–8 when one-touch Priority Mode is on.
