Trade-offs
- High-power PoE devices. Output is limited to 24W (0.5A at 48V); devices requiring more than 24W will be undersupplied.
- Data routing or network switching. This is a passive power injector with no Gigabit LAN port; it cannot route traffic or serve as a network switch.
- Hot environments. Operating temperature tops out at +60°C; installations in direct sunlight or enclosed hot enclosures may exceed this limit.
- Applications requiring longer warranties. The 1-year warranty is shorter than many industrial PoE injectors, which often carry 2–3 year or lifetime terms.
