- Compatible with standard Gigabit Ethernet devices on all five ports.
- Managed through UniFi Network application version 5.10.3 or later.
- Maximum PoE output is limited to PoE+ per port; individual devices drawing more than PoE+ will not receive full power from this unit.

Trade-offs
- Networks with high aggregate bandwidth. Total non-blocking throughput is 5 Gbps across five ports, suitable for light to moderate traffic only.
- Deployments needing more than four powered ports. This model has exactly one PoE++ input and four PoE+ outputs; it cannot support more connected PoE devices.
- Multi-gigabit or 10G environments. All five ports are Gigabit only; this switch will bottleneck faster uplinks.
- Installations requiring Layer 3 routing. This is a Layer 2 switch with no routing capability.
