Verbatim PMT-14 14" FHD Touchscreen Monitor - USB-C, Aluminium
The Verbatim PMT-14 14" FHD Touchscreen Monitor is a slim, aluminium-bodied portable display aimed at professionals, travellers, and students who need a second screen wherever they go. It solves the problem of working productively on a single laptop screen by adding a full 1080p IPS touch display that connects with a single USB-C cable — no separate power brick required for compatible devices. An included HDMI cable and power adapter extend compatibility to phones, tablets, and gaming consoles.
Why this product
One-cable setup via USB-C
Power, video, and data travel over a single USB-C connection for plug-and-play use with compatible laptops, tablets, and phones. No separate power adapter is needed when the host device supplies sufficient power.
Capacitive 10-point multi-touch
G+G glass-on-glass capacitive touch supports up to 10 simultaneous touch points, enabling natural gestures and direct interaction with the screen.
Full HD IPS panel with 178° viewing angles
The 1920 × 1080 IPS panel delivers accurate colour across a full 178° horizontal and vertical viewing angle — useful for side-by-side presentations or shared viewing.
HDR support for richer contrast
Built-in HDR technology expands the contrast and colour range of compatible content, adding visible depth to images and video.
Solid aluminium housing with protective sleeve
The metal chassis resists flex during transit, and the included Neoprene sleeve protects the screen surface in a bag.
Integrated speaker and headphone jack
A built-in speaker handles audio without extra accessories; a 3.5 mm jack lets you switch to headphones or a separate speaker privately.

- Works with any PC or Mac that has a USB-C port supporting DisplayPort Alt Mode and power delivery.
- Connects via HDMI to phones, tablets, consoles, and other devices — an HDMI cable and USB-A power adapter are included.
- Touch functionality over USB-C requires an additional USB cable (USB-A to USB-C, included in the box) alongside the video connection.
- USB-C video requires a cable with a minimum transfer rate of 10 Gbit/s (USB 3.2 Gen 2×1 or better); the included cable meets this requirement, but third-party lower-spec cables will not carry a video signal.
- If the host device cannot supply enough power, the included USB-A to AC power adapter must be used — this applies to HDMI connections and lower-power USB-C hosts.
- USB-C ports that do not support DisplayPort Alt Mode (e.g. charge-only USB-C ports) cannot drive the display over USB-C.
Best for
- Remote workers and frequent travellers who need a portable second screen: at 990 g and 14", it fits most travel bags and runs from a single USB-C cable.
- One-on-one presenters who want to show content to a single viewer beside them, thanks to the 178° wide viewing angle and tiltable stand (0° to 85°).
- Tablet and phone users who want a larger display for their device, connectable via USB-C or HDMI.
- Touch-centric workflows such as annotation, sketching, or navigation, supported by the 10-point capacitive multi-touch panel.
- Casual gaming on the go with consoles or phones, where HDMI connectivity and HDR support add visual flexibility.
Trade-offs
- Colour-critical professional work: the colour gamut is rated at NTSC 45%, which is narrower than displays intended for photo editing or print production.
- High-refresh-rate gaming: the native refresh rate is 60 Hz, which does not support the higher frame rates competitive gamers typically require.
- Bright outdoor use: brightness is rated at 250 cd/m², which may be insufficient in direct sunlight or very bright environments.
- Users with only charge-only USB-C ports: a USB-C port that does not support DisplayPort Alt Mode cannot drive the display over USB-C, and an HDMI connection with the separate power adapter would be needed instead.

The Verbatim Portable Touchscreen Monitor gives you an extra dimension for your work and play. You can use it as a second screen for your laptop when you are travelling or giving one-on-one presentations, or to provide a large additional display for your phone, tablet, or portable gaming system.
Delivering 16.7M colours in 1080p or full HD, the Verbatim Portable Monitor utilizes in-plane switching technology (IPS) to produce a sharper and more accurate picture and wide viewing angle on its 16:9 screen. The built in kickstand enables the monitor to be set up at the angle that suits you best in a position of your choice helping to improve comfort and overall productivity. The display incorporates high-dynamic range (HDR) technology which improves picture quality – significantly expanding the range of both contrast and colour – giving the image more "depth" and creating a fantastic viewing experience.
The portable monitor connects via USB-C meaning that power, data, and video is all transferred using a single cable. Just connect it to your laptop, Mac, tablet, phone, or console, and start sharing screens! There is also an HDMI cable included for those requiring connection via HDMI. Using HDMI requires the use of a power supply, which is also included. For touch function support, an additional USB cable is required. The power supply also supports longer use for devices connected via USB-C. Lightweight and slimline, the portable touchscreen monitor easily fits most travel bags. Built in a solid and durable aluminium housing and with an included Neoprene protective sleeve, it's a perfect companion for those trips away.
*Ensure your device has a USB-C port supporting DisplayPort Alt Mode and power delivery. If power is not sufficient, attach the included power supply.
For a direct USB-C connection, a USB-C to USB-C cable with a minimum transfer rate of 10 Gbit/s (USB 3.2 Gen 2x1) is required (included). Lower-spec cables do not support video signal transmission. Compatible options include Thunderbolt 3, 4, or USB4 cables.
