Verbatim Portable 15.6" Dual Monitor Essentials - Full HD 1080p
The Verbatim Portable 15.6" Dual Monitor Essentials - Full HD 1080p is a twin-screen portable display designed for professionals who need to expand their workspace without being tied to a desk. It stacks two Full HD IPS panels vertically into a slim, lightweight unit that connects via USB-C or Mini HDMI, requiring no driver installation. Whether you're working from home, in a meeting room, or travelling, it offers a compact way to run multiple windows or presentations side by side.
Why this product
Two Full HD screens in one device
Both panels deliver 1920 × 1080 resolution with IPS technology, giving sharp, accurate visuals across the full 16:9 area of each screen.
178° wide viewing angle on both panels
IPS panels with 178° horizontal and vertical viewing angles keep colours consistent whether you're sharing your screen or glancing from the side.
Plug-and-play via USB-C or Mini HDMI
No drivers are needed — connect with the included USB-C or Mini HDMI cable and both screens are ready to use immediately.
Three display modes: Extend, Duplicate, Ultra
Switch between Extend mode (Windows only), Duplicate mode, and Ultra Mode to suit your workflow, whether you're multitasking or presenting.
HDR support for richer contrast
HDR capability improves contrast and colour accuracy, making it useful for both detailed document work and media playback.
VESA 75×75 mm mount compatible
Standard VESA mounting means it can be fixed to a monitor arm or wall bracket when a permanent installation suits your setup better.

- Windows 11, 10, and 8 — all three display modes (Extend, Duplicate, Ultra) are supported.
- Android OS — compatible via USB-C supporting DisplayPort Alt Mode.
- VESA 75×75 mm arms and wall brackets — mounting holes are built in.
- macOS — supported, but only Duplicate and Ultra display modes are available; Extend Mode is not supported.
- iOS and iPadOS — compatible with an adapter for Lightning devices (adapter not included); touchscreen function is not supported on iOS/iPadOS.
- Mini HDMI connection — due to HDMI's single-monitor limitation, both screens are recognised as one monitor; Extend and Duplicate modes will mirror both panels (like Duplicate), while Ultra Mode works as intended across both screens.
Best for
- Remote and hybrid workers who need a multi-screen setup at home or in temporary office spaces without carrying bulky hardware.
- Frequent travellers who want dual-screen productivity on the road — the slim design and included neoprene sleeve make it practical to pack.
- Presenters and educators who benefit from Duplicate or Ultra Mode to show content to an audience while keeping reference material visible.
- Windows users who multitask heavily — Extend Mode lets two independent applications run across the two panels simultaneously.
- Users who want a clean desk — built-in 1W stereo speakers on each panel and VESA mounting remove the need for extra accessories.
Trade-offs
- macOS users who need Extend Mode — the vendor explicitly states Extend Mode is not supported on macOS; only Duplicate and Ultra modes are available.
- Users connecting via Mini HDMI who need true independent screens — HDMI's single-monitor limitation means Extend and Duplicate modes both mirror the same image across both panels when using that connection.
- High-refresh-rate or fast-motion use — the panels run at 60 Hz with a 10 ms GTG response time, which is not suited to competitive gaming or high-frame-rate video work.
- Wide colour gamut professional colour work — the NTSC coverage is 45%, which is below the level expected for colour-critical photography or print production.
- iOS/iPadOS touchscreen workflows — the vendor states touchscreen function is not supported on iOS or iPadOS, and Lightning device users must supply their own adapter.
Whether you're in the office, working from home, or on the go, the Verbatim Portable 15.6" FHD Dual Monitor Essentials offers a flexible, compact solution to expand your workspace. Featuring two vertically stacked screens and support for multiple display modes – including Extend*, Duplicate, and Ultra Mode – it adapts seamlessly to your workflow. Maximise your productivity without compromising on space, thanks to its slim, lightweight design.
* Extend Mode is supported by Windows only. macOS supports only Duplicate and Ultra display modes.
Immersive Visual Performance
Equipped with dual Full HD IPS panels and ultra-wide 178° viewing angles, this monitor ensures sharp, vibrant visuals from nearly any perspective. HDR support boosts contrast and colour accuracy for both professional and entertainment use.
Simple Setup
Enjoy effortless plug-and-play functionality via USB-C or Mini HDMI – no drivers required. Built-in stereo speakers provide clear sound without external accessories, and VESA 75×75 mm mounting compatibility supports various installation options. When you're ready to move, the included protective neoprene sleeve keeps your monitor safe and secure, making it ideal for mobile professionals and frequent travellers.
Limited Functionality with HDMI Connection
Due to the technical limitations of HDMI only being able to manage one attached monitor, the dual monitor is recognised as one monitor on your device. This means in Duplicate and Extend Mode of the monitor, both monitors will mirror the same like in Duplicate Mode. Ultimate Mode will work as intended, extending the resolution on both monitors.
