ASUS ROG Strix OLED XG32UCWMG 32" 4K 240Hz Gaming Monitor
The ASUS ROG Strix OLED XG32UCWMG is a 32-inch 4K TrueBlack Glossy WOLED gaming monitor aimed at players who want both high resolution and high frame-rate options in a single display. Its dual-mode feature lets users switch between 4K at 240 Hz for visually rich titles and FHD at 480 Hz for fast-paced competitive play. ASUS OLED Care Pro with Neo Proximity Sensor actively manages burn-in risk, making it a practical long-term choice for extended gaming sessions.
Why this product
Dual mode: 4K@240Hz or FHD@480Hz
A single hotkey switches between 4K resolution at 240 Hz and FHD resolution at 480 Hz, so the same monitor serves both immersive AAA gaming and high-frame-rate competitive play.
TrueBlack Glossy WOLED panel
A zero-haze optical layer delivers deep blacks under varied lighting conditions. The 1,500,000:1 contrast ratio and 1300 cd/m² peak brightness support VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 compliance.
0.03 ms gray-to-gray response time
The WOLED panel's 0.03 ms GtG response time minimises motion blur, complemented by ASUS's Clear Pixel Edge Algorithm for sharper fast-moving visuals.
OLED Care Pro with Neo Proximity Sensor
The sensor detects when no one is in front of the screen and switches to a black display, reducing cumulative panel exposure and burn-in risk over time.
Wide colour coverage for creative work
99% DCI-P3, 100% sRGB and 91% Adobe RGB coverage with true 10-bit colour and Delta E < 2 accuracy make it usable for photo and video editing alongside gaming.
3-year warranty including burn-in coverage
ASUS covers the panel for three years, with burn-in included, which addresses the most common concern buyers raise about OLED displays.

Best for
- Competitive and AAA PC gaming: the dual-mode feature covers both high-refresh competitive play and 4K@240Hz for graphically intensive titles without needing a second monitor.
- Console gamers: HDMI 2.1 inputs and Auto Low Latency Mode make it directly compatible with current-generation consoles at 4K.
- HDR and colour-critical work: VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400, 99% DCI-P3, and Delta E < 2 accuracy suit photo and video editors who also use the display for gaming.
- Users concerned about OLED longevity: OLED Care Pro, the Neo Proximity Sensor, OLED Anti-Flicker technology, and 3-year burn-in warranty address the main risks directly.
- Multi-device setups: Auto KVM, USB-C upstream, three USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A downstream ports and two HDMI 2.1 inputs support switching between multiple sources.
Trade-offs
- Buyers needing more USB-C power delivery: the USB-C port is rated at 15 W, which will not charge power-hungry laptops at full performance.
- Ultra-wide or large-format users: the panel is 16:9 at 31.5 inches viewable — buyers who prefer ultra-wide aspect ratios or panels above 32 inches will need a different product.
- Offices with ceiling-mounted projectors or very bright ambient light: the TrueBlack Glossy surface reduces haze but is more reflective than matte-coated displays in high-glare environments.
- Budget-conscious buyers: as a third-generation WOLED panel with 4K@240Hz and dual-mode capability, this is a high-cost display; buyers who do not need 4K or OLED quality will find lower-cost alternatives.
