Why this product
USB-C powered, no adapter needed
Draw power from any USB-C charger or portable battery. Supports 5V/3A, 9V/1.67A, and 12V/1.25A charging profiles for compatibility with most modern devices.
WiFi 6 with dual-band coverage
Delivers up to 1201 Mbps on 5 GHz and 300 Mbps on 2.4 GHz using 802.11ax standard, with 2x2 transmit and receive on both bands.

- Works with any USB-C power source: wall chargers, power banks, laptops, and car chargers rated 5V or higher.
- Connects to 4G/5G phones via USB-A port for mobile tethering, or to existing WiFi networks in WISP mode.
- Includes one Ethernet port (WAN/LAN) for a wired internet source or connecting a single wired device.
- WISP mode requires you to already be in range of a public or private WiFi network to extend it; it cannot create its own internet without a wired connection or mobile tether input.
Best for
- Business travellers who work across hotels, cafes, and offices and need a secure private network on public WiFi.
- Digital nomads and backpackers who want to avoid packing extra power supplies and chargers.
- People who travel internationally with multiple devices and need to share a single mobile hotspot securely.
- Users who value WiFi 6 speed for video calls and file transfers while staying portable.
Trade-offs
- Large households or offices: Single Ethernet port and 128 MB flash memory limit the number of connected devices and stored configurations.
- Bandwidth-heavy use: Designed for portability over throughput; not optimised for simultaneous 4K streaming or large file downloads across many devices.
- Users without a power source: Requires USB-C power from a charger or bank; cannot run on battery alone.
- WiFi 6E or mesh network seekers: This is a single-unit dual-band router without mesh or WiFi 6E tri-band capability.
RT-AX50 Go is your perfect companion, easily powered by USB-C. Forget the hassle of carrying multiple adapters; simply use your portable charger to stay connected.
Designed for ultimate portability, the RT-AX50 Go features a lightweight, small form factor that makes it easy to carry wherever you go, seamlessly fitting into your lifestyle without adding bulk.
