Fractal Design Core 1000 USB 3.0 Micro-ATX Mini Tower Case
The Fractal Design Core 1000 USB 3.0 is a compact micro-ATX case for builders who need a small footprint without sacrificing graphics card support or drive flexibility. It combines a streamlined design with practical cooling layout and USB 3.0 connectivity, eliminating the typical compromises of entry-level builds.
Why this product
Fits graphics cards up to 350 mm
The vertical HDD mounting bracket design clears space for longer GPUs, letting you use modern graphics cards in a small form factor.
Flexible drive configuration
Mount three 2.5" SSDs, two 3.5" HDDs, or mix them — the anti-vibration grommets keep the system quiet.
USB 3.0 front panel
One USB 3.0 and one USB 2.0 port on the front, plus audio in/out and power controls.
Mesh front with dust filter
The removable front panel is pre-fitted with a fan filter to prevent dust buildup while maintaining airflow.

Best for
- Budget-conscious builds that don't compromise on GPU support
- Small desk or shelf spaces where full-size towers don't fit
- Storage-heavy builds needing multiple drives in minimal space
- Quiet systems using fanless or low-noise cooling solutions
Trade-offs
- Builds with multiple large case fans — only three fan mounts total (one 120 mm front, one 92 mm rear, one 120 mm side)
- Water cooling loops — the compact dimensions and limited fan mounting options make radiator placement difficult
- Systems using very long power supplies or large air coolers above 148 mm

The front panel is easily removable and pre-fitted with fan filters to ensure a dust free interior.
