HP ProDesk 4 Mini G1i AI PC – Core Ultra 5, 16GB, 512GB SSD
The HP ProDesk 4 Mini G1i Desktop AI PC is a one-litre mini desktop designed for businesses of all sizes seeking commercial-grade performance in a compact, single-cable deployment form. Powered by an Intel Core Ultra 5 processor with a dedicated 13 TOPS NPU, it suits IT teams and SMB users who need enterprise-ready AI capability, security features, and a small physical footprint without sacrificing connectivity.
Why this product
Intel Core Ultra 5 with AI acceleration
The Intel Core Ultra 5 235T runs up to 5.0 GHz across 14 cores and includes Intel AI Boost, a dedicated NPU rated at 13 TOPS for on-device AI workloads.
One-litre chassis, full-size connectivity
Despite its compact 17.7 × 18.1 × 3.42 cm frame and 1.2 kg weight, it provides six USB ports, two DisplayPort 2.1 outputs, one HDMI 2.1 port, and Gigabit Ethernet across front and rear panels.
Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 built in
Intel Wi-Fi 6E AX211 with vPro support handles wireless connectivity at the latest standard, alongside Bluetooth 5.3 for peripherals.
Windows 11 Pro included
It ships with Windows 11 Pro, covering BitLocker encryption, remote management, and domain join out of the box.
PCIe NVMe SSD storage
A 512 GB PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD provides fast storage access, with two M.2 2280 slots available for future storage expansion.
Intel vPro for remote management
The Intel Q870 chipset and vPro platform support out-of-band management, making it practical for IT teams managing fleets of devices remotely.

- Runs Windows 11 Pro natively — no upgrade required.
- Supports up to three simultaneous external displays via two DisplayPort 2.1 and one HDMI 2.1 output.
- Intel Wi-Fi 6E is backward-compatible with Wi-Fi 5 and Wi-Fi 6 routers and access points.
- Memory is currently configured as 1 × 16 GB in one of two DIMM slots — dual-channel operation requires adding a second module.
- The USB Type-C front port supports 20 Gbps signalling; verify that attached devices support this standard to achieve full throughput.
- No discrete GPU slot is present — graphics are handled by integrated Intel Graphics only, so dedicated GPU workloads are not supported.
Best for
- SMB and enterprise desktops where commercial security features like vPro, BitLocker, and Windows 11 Pro are required.
- Space-constrained deployments such as small offices, reception desks, or VESA-mounted behind a monitor, thanks to the one-litre chassis.
- Multi-display workstations for users who need up to three screens connected simultaneously over DisplayPort 2.1 and HDMI 2.1.
- IT-managed fleets where remote out-of-band management via Intel vPro reduces on-site support requirements.
- On-device AI workloads for users exploring AI-assisted productivity tools, supported by the 13 TOPS Intel AI Boost NPU.
Trade-offs
- Discrete GPU workloads — no dedicated graphics card slot exists, so 3D rendering, video editing with GPU acceleration, or gaming are not supported by this configuration.
- High-memory workloads above 16 GB — while a second DIMM slot is available, the unit ships with a single 16 GB module and maximum capacity is not stated in the verified specification.
- Users needing a built-in display or laptop portability — this is a desktop mini PC requiring an external monitor and a fixed power connection.
- Thunderbolt connectivity — the front USB-C port operates at 20 Gbps signalling rate; no Thunderbolt port is listed in the specification.
The HP ProDesk 4 Mini G1i Desktop AI PC delivers commercial-grade performance, security, and flexible deployment capabilities, with just a single-cable, for businesses of all sizes.
This reliable, one-liter PC provides the power to handle mainstream enterprise and SMBs with a powerful Intel® CPU featuring a 13 TOPS NPU. See where AI can take you!
