iiyama ProLite XUB3493WQSU-B6 34" UWQHD 120Hz IPS Monitor
The iiyama ProLite XUB3493WQSU-B6 is a 34-inch ultrawide IPS monitor designed for professionals and multitaskers who need extended desktop space without adding a second screen. Its 21:9 UWQHD panel, Picture-in-Picture and Picture-by-Picture modes, and a fully height-adjustable stand make it well suited to productivity-focused work environments. Flicker-free technology and a blue light reducer help reduce eye fatigue during long sessions.
Why this product
UWQHD resolution for side-by-side working
The 3440 × 1440 UWQHD panel at a 21:9 aspect ratio gives you the horizontal space to keep multiple applications open and visible at the same time.
120 Hz refresh rate with Adaptive Sync
A 48–120 Hz variable refresh range and Adaptive Sync (FreeSync) keep motion smooth whether you are scrolling through documents or watching video.
PiP and PbP for dual-source display
Picture-in-Picture and Picture-by-Picture modes let you show content from two different sources on one screen, removing the need for a second monitor.
150 mm height-adjustable ergonomic stand
The stand offers 150 mm of height travel so you can set the screen at a comfortable eye level for long working days.
Flicker-free and blue light reducer
FlickerFree technology and a built-in blue light reducer work together to lower eye strain during extended use.

Best for
- Office multitaskers who want to run several applications side by side on a single wide panel rather than managing two screens.
- Professionals comparing data across sources — PiP and PbP let you feed two devices into one display simultaneously.
- Colour-sensitive work requiring accurate hues: the IPS panel covers 100% sRGB with 178°/178° wide viewing angles.
- Long desk sessions where comfort matters — the height-adjustable stand, flicker-free backlight and blue light reducer all reduce fatigue.
- Light gaming alongside productivity — 120 Hz and 1 ms response time are capable for casual and mid-level gaming use.
Trade-offs
- High-end HDR viewing: at 400 cd/m² brightness and a static contrast of 1000:1, this is not designed for demanding HDR content that benefits from much higher peak luminance.
- Competitive gaming at over 120 Hz: the panel's maximum refresh rate is 120 Hz, below the 144 Hz or higher rates available on gaming-focused displays.
- Wide colour gamut creative work: the colour coverage is rated at NTSC 74%, which falls short of DCI-P3 or Adobe RGB panels used in professional colour grading.
- Users who need G-Sync Certified support: Adaptive Sync is FreeSync-based and G-Sync Certified status is not confirmed in the specifications.
With a 21:9 UWQHD resolution, the ProLite XUB3493WQSU provides an extended desktop space ideal for working with multiple applications side by side.
The IPS panel ensures accurate colour reproduction and wide viewing angles, suitable for both detailed work and media consumption.
Equipped with Picture-in-Picture (PiP) and Picture-by-Picture (PbP) functionalities, the monitor allows you to display content from two different sources simultaneously.
This is especially useful for professionals who need to monitor multiple systems or compare data across devices without the need for a second screen.
The 150 mm height-adjustable stand helps you maintain an ergonomic posture, while flicker-free technology and a blue light reducer contribute to reduced eye fatigue.
The XUB3493WQSU offers a practical and flexible solution for users who value efficiency, clarity, and comfort.
