piXL CM32GF5 32" 165Hz Curved Gaming Monitor - FreeSync
The piXL CM32GF5 is a 32-inch curved gaming monitor aimed at players who want an immersive, large-screen setup without a high-end price tag. Its 1500R curved VA panel and frameless design are built to draw you into the action, while AMD FreeSync and NVIDIA G-Sync compatibility help eliminate tearing and stuttering during fast-paced gameplay. A 3-year warranty and internal PSU round out a package intended for everyday gaming desks.
Why this product
Up to 165Hz refresh rate
It supports a refresh rate of up to 165Hz for smooth motion during fast gameplay. Note that when AMD FreeSync or NVIDIA G-Sync is active, the maximum refresh rate is 144Hz.
1ms response time
The 1ms response time reduces ghosting and blur, keeping moving images sharp during high-action scenes or competitive gaming.
AMD FreeSync and G-Sync compatible
It works with both AMD FreeSync and NVIDIA G-Sync-compatible graphics cards, synchronising the frame rate between the GPU and the display to prevent screen tearing.
1500R curved VA panel
The 1500R curvature and VA panel technology deliver a 3000:1 contrast ratio with deep blacks and bright whites, wrapping the image around your field of vision.
Frameless design with VESA mount support
The slim, frameless bezel makes it well-suited to multi-monitor setups, and the 75×75mm VESA holes allow wall or arm mounting for a cleaner desk arrangement.
3-year warranty included
piXL covers this monitor with a 3-year warranty as standard, which is longer than the 1- or 2-year terms common at this price tier.

- When FreeSync or G-Sync is enabled, the maximum refresh rate is capped at 144Hz, not 165Hz.
- Runs on AC 100–240V, 50/60Hz, making it suitable for UK and international mains power, but uses an internal PSU rather than an external brick.
Best for
- Budget-conscious gamers who want a large 32-inch curved screen with high refresh rates and adaptive sync without paying flagship prices.
- Multi-monitor setups — the frameless bezel and VESA mount support make it straightforward to place two or more of these side by side.
- Mixed-use desks where the monitor is used for both gaming and video watching, as the HDR panel and wide colour gamut suit both.
- Players who prioritise contrast — the VA panel's 3000:1 contrast ratio produces noticeably deeper blacks than IPS alternatives at similar sizes.
Trade-offs
- Competitive players needing 165Hz with adaptive sync — enabling FreeSync or G-Sync limits the refresh rate to 144Hz, so the top 165Hz figure is only available without those features active.
- High-resolution content creators — the panel is Full HD (1920×1080), which means less screen real estate and detail than QHD or 4K monitors at the same 32-inch size.
- Users needing more than one video input type — connectivity is limited to 2× HDMI 1.4 and 1× DisplayPort 1.2, with no USB hub or USB-C port.
- Setups in warm environments — the specified operating temperature tops out at 40°C (104°F), which may be a concern in poorly ventilated rooms.
