TP-Link Archer TX20U Plus AX1800 Wi-Fi 6 USB Adapter
The TP-Link Archer TX20U Plus is a Wi-Fi 6 USB adapter that adds high-speed wireless connectivity to desktops and laptops without requiring a new PC. It delivers up to 1800 Mbps across dual bands with two rotatable high-gain antennas, letting you connect from farther away and reduce congestion on crowded networks.
Why this product
Wi-Fi 6 at 1800 Mbps total
1201 Mbps on 5 GHz and 574 Mbps on 2.4 GHz means faster streaming, gaming and downloads on compatible routers.
Dual high-gain antennas rotate 180°
Position them for optimal signal strength from any location, with better reception at distance through beamforming.
MU-MIMO and OFDMA reduce lag
Other devices on your network won't slow you down for video calls, gaming or uploads.
USB 3.0 connection, no bottleneck
SuperSpeed USB 3.0 is up to 10× faster than USB 2.0, with a 1-meter cable included.
WPA3 encryption
Latest security standard protects against brute-force attacks.

- USB 3.0 port required on your PC; USB 2.0 ports will work but at reduced speed.
- Transmit power is region-dependent: 19 dBm (FCC) or 16–14.5 dBm (CE), affecting range based on your location.
Best for
- Desktop and laptop upgrades where Wi-Fi 6 is needed without buying new hardware.
- Multi-device households where MU-MIMO and OFDMA prevent lag from competing connections.
- Gaming and video streaming where low latency and high bandwidth matter.
- Long-range connections where high-gain antennas and beamforming extend reliable coverage.
Trade-offs
- Macs or non-Windows systems; drivers are Windows 11/10 only.
- Devices without a USB 3.0 port, or where USB 2.0 is the only option available.
- Routers older than Wi-Fi 5; it will work but will not achieve advertised Wi-Fi 6 speeds.
Forget about buying a new PC. TX20U Plus delivers powerful dual band WiFi 6 straight to your device for exceptional connectivity and speed up to 1800 Mbps.
High-gain antennas combine with Beamforming to concentrate WiFi signals towards your router for better reception and reliable connections from far away.
Experience flawless streams, gameplay, and uploads while your network simultaneously processes bandwidth for multiple devices.
Working with a compatible router, your PC receives data at the same time as other devices on the same stream. This means next-to-nothing lag for video and games.
USB 3.0 ensures there's no bottleneck between TX20U Plus and your PC.
Rotate and adjust the antennas 180° for the best reception from any location. Find the best spot for network reception with TX20U Plus's desktop-friendly design and 1-meter USB cable.
TX20U Plus comes with its driver pre-loaded. Just plug and install.
WPA3 encryption protects your PC from brute-force attacks, keeping your personal data safe.
