The TP-Link TL-POE150S Gigabit PoE Injector delivers power and data over a single Ethernet cable to remote network devices such as access points, IP cameras and IP phones, eliminating the need for separate power lines at installation sites. It complies with the IEEE 802.3af standard and works with any PoE-compliant powered device or receiver adapter. Setup requires no configuration—plug in the power adapter, connect your network and powered device, and it operates immediately.

- Compatible with standard Ethernet cabling: Category 3, 4 or 5 UTP for 10BASE-T; Category 5 or 5e for 100BASE-TX; Category 5, 5e or 6 for Gigabit.
- Does not support IEEE 802.3at (PoE+) or IEEE 802.3bt (PoE++) devices that require more than 15.4W of power.
- Cannot inject power into devices that do not support PoE; a matching PoE receiver adapter is required if the endpoint device has no built-in PoE support.

Trade-offs

- Non-PoE devices — the powered device must support PoE or you must use a separate PoE receiver adapter.
The PoE Injector POE150S (TL-POE150S) fully complies with IEEE 802.3af standard, and can work with all IEEE 802.3af PoE compliant PDs (Powered Devices) or PoE Receiver Adapters, such as TP-LINK's POE10R, or other equivalent product, to expand your network to where there are no power line or outlet, where you wish to fix device such as AP, IP Camera or IP Phone, etc.
