TP-Link TL-SG3210 8-Port Gigabit L2+ Managed Switch 2 SFP
The TP-Link TL-SG3210 is a managed network switch designed for small to medium business networks that need centralized management, advanced traffic control, and reliable connectivity. It combines 8 Gigabit Ethernet ports with 2 SFP slots to support both copper and fiber connections, making it suitable for offices, remote sites, or hybrid network environments.
Why this product
Omada SDN integration for centralized control
Integrates with TP-Link's Omada platform for cloud-based management, remote monitoring, and Zero-Touch Provisioning. Manage multiple switches and network devices from a single dashboard.
8 Gigabit ports plus 2 SFP fiber slots
Full set of copper RJ45 ports for wired devices, with SFP slots to connect fiber uplinks or long-distance links without additional hardware.
QoS and IGMP for voice and video priority
Ensures voice calls and video streams remain smooth by prioritizing them over other traffic, even under bandwidth constraints. IGMP snooping prevents multicast waste.
L2+ managed features without L3 complexity
VLAN support, Port Mirroring, Link Aggregation, STP, and Static Routing let you segment and optimize traffic without the overhead of a full Layer 3 switch.
Fanless, low-power operation
Draws only 6.84 W at 220V and runs silent with no cooling fan, ideal for quiet office environments or equipment racks.

- Works with any device using standard Gigabit Ethernet (10/100/1000Mbps) over RJ45 cables, including servers, desktops, printers, IP cameras, and access points.
- SFP slots accept Gigabit fiber modules (1000BASE-X) for connecting to fiber infrastructure or extending network range beyond copper limits.
- Omada SDN integration requires the Omada Controller (hardware or cloud-based); standalone operation via web UI, CLI, or SNMP also available without Omada.
- L3 static routing and ISP features are available only in standalone mode; some advanced features may be limited when managed through Omada SDN.
- Does not provide Power over Ethernet (PoE) — connected devices must have their own power supply.
Best for
- Networks needing centralized management across multiple sites.
- Deployments with voice or video traffic that must stay responsive under load.
- Small to medium offices or remote branches using both copper and fiber connections.
- Environments where silent, fanless operation is preferred.
Trade-offs
- Large enterprise networks — designed for small to medium deployments; lacks the port density and throughput of larger chassis switches.
- PoE-powered devices — switch does not support Power over Ethernet, so IP cameras, wireless access points, and VoIP phones need separate power.
- High-density fiber networks — only 2 SFP slots available; environments needing many fiber connections should consider larger switches.
- Deployments without management capability — full benefit requires Omada Controller setup or network administration knowledge for standalone CLI/web management.
As a switch that seamlessly integrates into the Omada Software Defined Networking (SDN) platform, TL-SG3210 allows for remote and centralized management, anywhere, anytime.
A complete lineup of L2+ features are supported, including 802.1Q VLAN, Port Mirroring, STP/RSTP/MSTP, Link Aggregation Control Protocol, and 802.3x Flow Control. Advanced IGMP Snooping ensures the switch intelligently forwards multicast streams to only the appropriate subscribers, cutting out unnecessary traffic, while IGMP throttling & filtering restrict each subscriber on a port level to prevent unauthorized multicast access. Static Routing is a simple way of segmenting the network and internally routs traffic through the switch for improved efficiency. Voice and video traffic can be prioritized based on IP address, MAC address, TCP port number, UDP port number, and more. With QoS (Quality of Service), voice and video services remain smooth, even when bandwidth is in short supply. sFlow, QinQ, L2PT PPPoE ID Insertion and IGMP authentication features are provided, developed with service providers in mind.
sFlow, QinQ, L2PT PPPoE ID Insertion and IGMP authentication features are provided, developed with service providers in mind. 802.3ah OAM and Device Link Detection Protocol (DLDP) offer easy monitoring and troubleshooting of Ethernet links. IPv6 functions such as Dual IPv4/IPv6 Stack, MLD Snooping, IPv6 ACL, DHCPv6 Snooping, IPv6 Interface, Path Maximum Transmission Unit (PMTU) Discovery and IPv6 Neighbor Discover guarantee your network is ready for the Next Generation Network (NGN) without upgrading your hardware.
*Zero-Touch Provisioning requires the use of Omada Cloud-Based Controller.
**L3 and ISP features are available only when operate in standalone mode.
